Wellness Spotlight: On Accountability, Fierceness, & Healthy Thyroid Levels!

Shirelle came to us about a year ago with a knowledge base on various health-related topics and healthy practices, particularly around fitness. She also told us that her TSH levels were abnormally high despite two years of modifying her medications with her doctors. She wanted more info on managing her thyroids, losing weight, and gaining more education on her health matters.

She expressed her desire to bring her TSH level into normal range, feel strong, and lean, travel, help people, and spend time with her family and friends.

Throughout the past 14 months, we have celebrated dozens of milestones in Shirelle’s commitment to her health journey.

Today we celebrate the fact that Shirelle is eating healthy, balanced meals. She learned new information about cortisol, adrenaline, and hypothyroidism. Her last lab work was “phenomenally good” and her TSH is in healthy normal ranges and the goal she wanted to hit!!! Woohoo!!

Additionally, Shirelle has learned a new language and has immersed herself in learning a new culture. She had the opportunity to travel overseas for 3 weeks. She’s hosting dinner parties, spending time with her family, enjoying date nights with her husband, and serving through her ministry. She’s also feeling stronger and leaner. In our most recent session, she shared that she picked up Boxing as a new means of exercise that she really enjoys. Watch out!! She’s also building a greenhouse to plant fresh herbs and vegetables, creating a flower garden, and has been gradually moving towards eating a mostly plant-based diet over the past few months.
